Ariane Simbi

Ariane S.

Ariane Simbi is a senior at Washington
High School with a 3.1 G.P.A. Ariane has
been accepted at the University of Wisconsin-
Milwaukee and intends to pursue a career
in healthcare. She is ranked in the top ten of
her class, has perfect attendance, and has been
chosen to be a student ambassador for the Superintendent
of the Milwaukee Public Schools.
She has a passion for tennis and is part of the
Washington’s varsity girls tennis team. She has
served as a member of student government,
the yearbook committee, and the restorative
justice initiative. She is a member and class
president of the Milwaukee Urban League’s
and Workforce Investment Board’s Jobs for
America’s Graduates Program at Washington
High. Ariane, a native of Rwanda who grew up
in the south central African country of Zambia,
and speaks four languages.
