Dawn is a state-licensed social worker and serves as manager of community-based programs with Aurora Family Service. Her current responsibilities include management of three visitation care programs through AFS, including one devoted to healthy families, another around a wraparound concept and a third centered on family enrichment. Her involvement is further extended through such efforts as a pilot initiative known as “Well Mom, Well Baby” in partnership with Aurora Sinai Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Dawn’s previous professional background includes roles with St. Aemilian-Lakeside, the Wisconsin Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare and Milwaukee County’s Child Protective Services division. She also is a practicing psychotherapist.
